Caroline Tucker
Caroline trained at the Arts University, Bournemouth and then went on to gain a BA (Hons) degree in Contemporary textile design in Cardiff. She began working for a print and embroidery design studio in London where she created designs for high street fashion.
In 2010 Caroline started up her own company ‘Caroline Tucker Designs’ back in her home town of Dorchester. She began selling a unique range of digital artworks for greetings cards, coasters, placemats, cushions and prints.
The inspiration for her vibrant and quirky imagery came from a love of the countryside and beautiful coastline where she lives, combined with her passion for pattern and textiles.
3 years ago after having her first son she started to spend more time working on bright, energetic and colourful acrylic paintings. Caroline takes photos and sketches of the countryside and coastline for her imagery.
