Our gallery owner is artist Gina Marshall. Painter and fabric designer Nicky Stockley is our gallery assistant and student artist Ed Marriott is our part - time shop assistant.
That's what makes us special; you will always find one of our gallery artists working behind the counter, often demonstrating their creative process.
We sell quality artwork made by artists with a connection to Dorset. These include original paintings, drawings, prints, glassware and ceramics plus cushions produced and designed by our artists. We also sell handmade jewellery and colourful toiletry bags in hand designed fabrics. The work displayed includes mainly local landscapes but they are interpreted in a myriad of beautiful ways! From abstract leanings to realistic portrayals there are so many ways to see the wonderful surroundings we are lucky enough to have. We have a wide price range from £4 up to £1100.
We can suit your needs whether you are local, setting up a new home, a second home owner, on holiday with your family or exploring Purbeck as a walker or cyclist.
We are situated in a prominent position on the High Street near Curiosity, opposite the library and The Anchor Inn. We are open every day.
We have strong ties to the local art community. Gina is a member of the Isle of Purbeck Arts Club, which supports an art club, poetry, music and outings. We support local young and emerging artists both through the gallery and the Arts Club.
